My Vauxhall Corsa 1.5TD's Battery isn't charging!?

Hello everyone! Having a few snags with my corsa. A while back the Tacho just shot back to zero and the battery and handbrake light came on. Anyway drove it last night and the battery went flat. Anybody got any ideas or had the same problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Very odd? You may find, and this is only a guess, that there is a relay common to all three anomalies. If you have a look in your relay/main fuse box lid the relays are identified and you may find connections are identified as well (on some cars they are). Hope this is a help but I think your going to have to get an Auto Elect out.
In addition, have a look at battery terminals, fuses, fan belt, all wiring you can get at, etc. Make sure all these look okay.
Sounds like you have an electrical circuit grounding out. This is going to nearly impossible to find.

Take it to a dealer, they should be able to locate it on the diagnostic machine.
Your altenator or main buss fuse is at fault. Check your fan belt, then take the alt out and go have it checked.
A 1.5 TD Vauxhall engine? You probably want to replace it with an engine that generates enough power to charge the battery!
It could possibly be your alternator most car accessory shops, will give you a free test.Or if you put your interior light on start rev the engine the light should go brighter as more current is flowing to the bulb.
Its an electrical fault. What you need to do is take out each fuse (the non vital ones, obviously) one by one. Take out one, and drive the car for a day or two. If the fault re-occurs, its not that circuit. Keep going, until you find the fault doesnt happen, and thats the bad circuit. The main culprit when this happens is a poor DIY radio installation, so try the radio fuse 1st.

Hope this halps
what about going to a garage to get it checked, they may be a falut somewhere else
hi. i think you wont a new one
i had this same problem with my car, it was the alternator gone, it had snapped one side of its bracket.
Hi,this might help;Check the brushes inside the alternator
start it after you charge it take the hot post off the battery if the car dies its the alternator if not than its a bad battery if bad battery replace
Alternator blown or fan belt snapped or loose
