Mini Moto's?

Love Them Hate Them But Do You Think There Should Be A Place In Your Area So People With Mini Motos Can Ride Them Without Getting Into Trouble?

Answers:
Yeah, lots of people would like to see this happen, I think the city should buy/claim imminent domain on an abandoned parking lot or shopping center and fence it off maybe even put a guardrail all the way around it. And have signs up saying enter at your own risk. Basicaly a city sactioned ohv area. Maybe even have certain days that different size vehicles are allowed to use it. So mini bikes aren't colliding with go karts and go karts aren't coliding with big bikes etc.I doubt it would be very crowded on any day except weekends though, maybe have rotating weekends and free for all weekdays?
In my area we have designated areas for these infernal machines, it's called the pavement, the cops dont do jack.
absolutely, they a nuisance on the streets, but great fun for kids, something like a skate park would be ideal!
Yes there should be a place in every area where they can be ridden legally, with out the police crushing them when people get caught on them,i think its a disgrace that people pay there hard earned cash for them, and the police can come along and crush them.
yes too true the local councils should set up play parks for them just like they did for skateboarders
let the kids play (as long as its under the parents supervision)
it gets them off the bloody ps2 and psps and gets them out and about
the wee buggers drive them all over the place
there should be somewhere where they can go to enjoy mini motto's in a safe manner
Yes, there should be a place, and all the planning, purchase of the land, building and surfacing, preparation for safe riding, upkeep and supervision, insurance and legal obligations should all be paid for by Mini Moto riders. See how popular they are after that, bloody infernal bits of crap.
i work pt at "estreetmx" in california we have a track for them
No Tax, Mot, Licence or Insurance.
If they get ridden on the road/pavment they should be taken off the owners and crushed.
There are places to ride them, just look up race tracks in the yellow pages
Yes these places do exist. They are called indoor karting tracks. They do usually a night per week mini-moto racing. There is a thriving mini-moto racing scene, with organised venues and race series. All of which is much more sociable behaviour than tearing up the pavements and scaring the old folks.
We have an outdoor go-kart track near us that allows them on during parts of the day, but they charge to use the facilities so not many people use it.

However the police round our way do take the bikes and destroy them.
no!! pick them off with spud guns and watch the buggers launch skyward.
they should NEVER be on the road, not taxed, insured or m.o.t'd, they come up my road nearly every night,no lights at night, one 13 year old has already been killed by flying round a corner and got met by a car,the old lady driving the car was in shock, the young lad was in bits, blood on the road for days. Whoever made these infernal machines should be shot.
