Which is more econimical driving with your windows open thus creating drag or windows closed and aircon on?

Answers:
above 40mph, a/c below 40mph and in stop and go driving, windows open
air con all the way, then you dont get nasty bugs attacking you either like u do when u have the windows down
Air Con on full time
Window up, A/C on. Less drag.
windows up, fuel economy is cut by 4% when driving with them open.
a/c uses an extra 10% fuel so drive with your windows down a fraction the drag created would be minimal so more economical also drive in the highest possible gear with out labouring the engine too much
Driving around town is not going to create enough drag to effect your mileage, plus if it's a pleasant day, you can enjoy the fresh air. On the highway at faster speeds you will. The mileage savings, however, aren't that dramatic due to the power it takes for your engine to run air conditioning unit.
ffs air bloody con does not work with windows open hence no bloody sun roof on models with air con
ha- my car has air con and sunroof.. economy? hmmm, not quite my main concern, that would be convincing girlfriend not to have ac on and sunroof open! what the hell..
Depends on your speed. The faster you go, the more drag is created. Air-con would be better in that case.
with the widows open
