I have a mini with no papers, how can i find the year with the chassis & engine number how do i reregister it?
Answers:
Get a form from the post office, but if it has no papers how did you get it?
Could be stolen or an insurance write-off or a cut & shut (two crashed cars cut up and welded together to make one whole car).
Best rule of thumb is never buy a car with-out the papers as it is probably nicked.
phone the d.v.l.a. or you got a ringed motor mate bad luck there.
type the number plate into ebay, as if youre gonna sell it, it comes up with loads of details.

to re-register just pick up a form from the post office
Apply for a new title. If you just bought it, have the seller apply for a new title. Depending on the year of the mini, you may find the vin # under left side dash
take the engine and chasis number to a mini dealer they should be able to tell U what year it is. then go to Ur local dvla office and they will help U to get the papers for it
call you local Dmv
If you had bought it instead of stealing it you would probably have the correct documents.
Do a HPI check and you will get all the info you need.
there is a sticker on the door jam with a barcode and VIN there just read that sticker and the year is printed there if that sticker is scraped off or damaged in any way you might have a lemon. or its been stolen
