What is wrong with my Kawasaki GPX600R?
I suspect a carburetor problem, but can someone tell me exactly what the problem is? Would the problem affect the whole engine even though each cylinder has its own carb? All cables & electrics are in order.

If it is running fine on choke it would sugest a massive air leek.
Check the jubilee clamps on he carb to head side, and also see that the carb tops havent come loose or the vacume take offs.
The later will be on topof the carbs with a small black rubber cup on them.
TRY NEW PLUGS THEN BOTHER US .. WHEN YOU DUMP IN THE FUEL THE PLUGS FOUL.THERE IS A REASON I'M AROGANT.I'M RIGHT!
it sounds like your main jet has fallen out of its place in the carburettor. either that or you have a terrible air leak on the inlet. get it checked by a mechanic
Try putting more rice in your "Rice Burner".
Sounds like the floats are stuck in at least 2 of your carbs.
Could be a number of things mate ?, Plugs, Carbs, Air Filters, Dodgy HT lead that can only handle power at low rev's.
Personally id just take it to the shop and get it fixed, but that's just cause I'm scared of doing more harm than good. Good Luck !.

Ps, Fouled plugs can also sometimes work at low rev's but not high.
it sounds to me like your timeing is off you should check in to that first
Your jets could be clogged, believe it or not. I pulled a chunk of rubber out of mine once, couldn't figure how it got in there though.
