the oil dip stic is 11" long the trany dip stic is roughly 8"-9" long and is located on the drivers side under hood next to the stearing collom yolk " witch looks like 2 u shaped peaces of metal with a rubber boot around it
I dont know, where is he??

If i get my hands on him.
Look up the exhaust pipe when the engine is running and if you look hard enough you may just be a total IDIOT. thanks for the points.
seriously, if your not sure you should take it to a garage, it's a knightmare if you drain the wrong one, i was a dummy and messed up and it cost me a fair bit to sort.
If you really wanna do it get a manual specific to your car, Haynes is a good one
if you have a user handbook look in there it should tell you.
if the transmission is auto it will have a dip stick which you should check with the engine running gears in park dip stick will have hot cold levels
if it is a manual it will have a level plug half way up the side of the gearbox this is topped up until oil drips out of level plug,or you can put your finger in the hole [engine not running]and you should be able to feel oil, thats o.k.
