I have a 2001 tranie van 350 model why has it all of a sudden got noisy andlost a lot of power yet still runs?

Answers:
I'm guessing, but probably a broken exhaust manifold, or (if there is one) a broken or loose pipe from manifold to turbo.
This would mean the exhaust gas is escaping (hence the noise) before reaching and spinning the turbo (hence the loss of power).

Have a look under the bonnet with the engine running, and see if you can see / hear the exhaust gas blowing out. Be careful though - it will be hot.
Could be a faulty exhaust. This would allow it to run but would cause loss of power and increased noise
have you checked the oil and water,if they are o.k.and its not something obvious like the exhaust blowing,i think you need a garage to road test and advise you before you do excessive damage
coz its a FORD.which means "FIX OR REPAIR DAILLY" sell it to a tinker and count your blessings if you get rid of it
