Why do you see more traffic wardens than coppers?
Answers:
revenue.Thats what the wardens generate.
Cops are far more insidious as they are after the bust.
Traffic wardens are probably easier to train and do not earn as much as policeman and are, therefore, more easily funded
Well every parking ticket does provide a revenue for the local council. Same as speeding camera's. I will say no more. lol
traffic wardens bring in lots of cash, obviously much more important than catching thugs.
Oh My God YES!
I hate them, all they are, are wanna be coppers!
LoL XxX
Traffic wardens are cheap to train and pay. They create revenue for the local councils and the government like to fool the public into thinking that, by placing wardens on the streets, we'll think there are more police.
Got to love traffic wardens.
Because people don't bring in revenue for the government and unlike cars, are expendable!
I think that someTraffic Wardens really wanted to be in the Police Force and were rejected, thus being deprived of the excuse to give road users a good kicking legally.
Others are Policemen who really wanted to stay in the Force to continue persecuting motorists for much longer - but didn't want to pass up the opportunity of retiring with a good pension and then getting another cushy number with nearly the same job satisfaction.
Depends where you are - I hardly ever see traffic wardens, but see the police all the time. You must live somewhere with a local council that's strong on parking enforcement, and a police force that's strong on undercover policing.
may be it is because there is to many people out there to watch over and so few of them, but traffic wardens they can watch a large number of people because of the new technology they have for there cars to catch those breaking the law.
police cut backs traffic wardens make easy money for the councils they work for
