Why are people so rude to bus drivers?
Answers:
Im not,Im very polite to bus drivers. They are pleasant to me.
Are they? Haven't used a bus for over thirty years, used to be conductors kept control on buses. bring 'em back I say!
its the society we live in today,,people think rudeness is a way of life,,i have seen people get jumped on for no reason at all,,that's the way it is,,and always has been,,and will stay that way unless we all decide to change,,hope this help,s.
That is a good question. I don't understand the mentality of the people who do this. What is the purpose of showing such asinine behaviour.
i dont know where you live but in phoenix, most bus drivers are heartless and arrogant, they will kick you off the bus in a heart beat and you'll have to walk in 115 degrees.
nobody is rude to the driver unless the driver is really really wrong cuz they WILL call the police on you or embarrass you in public
they think bus drivers have a low life job.so u might as well be rude to them.its the same way people are rude to homeless people.they think they are low lifes.
I hadn't used the bus for over 10 years until a drunk totalled my car.
I'd say most people were very friendly towards the bus driver. There was even a new guy on his first day and everyone was very helpful. Even watching traffic and telling him when it was safe to pull out. Most even said thanks as they unboarded. There were couple of young girls who didn't have enough change and everyone up front pitched in so they can ride. Some of the nicest people use the bus.
But once there was this very nasty driver (a black) who said some rude and racist stuff to a mother (a hispanic) who tried to get over on the driver by paying for only 4 of 6 kids.
Driver said "Why don't you stop having so many damn kids!"
I did report the guy to the MTA but I don't know if he was disciplined or not.
Reflection of the modern society.
Drink and ignorance.
