Answers:
perhaps trapped air in the system, do u have hot air ? try flushing through
PUT IT IN BIN
I'll take it off your hands.
thermotime switch
it controls the fan, a couple of quid
Hi! Insured ? Fully Comp ? sounds like a job for 4* & Swan Vesta's..
Bring your car to a licensed mechanic
try the sensor on the fan, have you got water in the sump, if so head gasket
May have a blockage in radiator or water pump is not operating up to standards. take it back to dealer in your area and tell them its still under warranty.
check your fan connections.. and fuses. make sure your HEAD GASKET hasn't gone.. (mayonaise in oil cap..)
i think something might be clogged up. there's some liquids you can buy at a auto store
fist of all suck all water from the water bottle then put collent in your car radiator. the fan of the radiator does not work always it is automatic when your radiator starts overheating then it will start working.
If this advice is not work then send your car to me in Pakistan.
first thing is to check the thermostat, replace it as they are very cheep, run a flush through the radiator, check the oil cap for imulsified oil which is what happens water sneaks past cylinder head gasket another symtom is alot of smoke and lack of power, check the oil is ok and replace as poor old oil can cause over heating.
We had this problem with our car and it was the head gasket find a good mechanic not one who is going to rip you off and get a flow pressure check done they will be able to tell you what has gone wrong but it does sound like the head gasket.Make sure it is a good mechanic get one who your friends recomend and have used Hope this help you
Check the fan switch in the radiator .
Have the thermo-time switch checked, probably it does not sense the correct temparature of the water so the auxillary does not kick when its needed to cool the water fron the radiator that results the temperature guage rise up.
try fan sensor if not that possibly head gone.
no but but please dont use a vauxhall dealer as i dont think please dont make me think vauxhall
IT WILL RUN HOT IF THE FAN IS NOT WORK FIX THE FAN AND IT WILL FIX THE PRO.
When its running, the pipe that runs out of the radiator and into the sump and also the one that runs out of the head into the radiator. Squeeze them. If one is brick hard the water is not circulating and its your water pump. I think this will be the problem. If its an 8v total cost to sort shouldn't be more than £150 with fitting a second hand one.
