ahh the memories of my scooter days!! i loved it, getting wet in the rain, driving up a dark road worrying if someone would jump out in front of me! lol the thought of it, i had a honda sxr?? i cant remember now exactly, i passed it onto my brother and he put a radio on it then put blue neons on it and wasnt he on telly for a boyracer documentary doing donuts with the scooter lol and the blue neons every person in ireland must of looked at the programme and said who's this tosser on the telly with his scooter!! lol twas Iish tv by the way! any who hope u have a laugh with ur scooter ciao!
from personal experience, wait and save up for a car.If you cant wait get something British e.g B.S.A.
I'm a big fan of kymco scooters if you're into the modern look, or stellas if you want something a little more retro. I work for scooter world magazine. check out the website and shoot me an email (jessica) and I will send you out a buyers guide. It should give you some awesome ideas.
stay away from cheepo chinese bikes you get for a hundred bucks on discount sites or ebay. We did an article on those and they are poor quality with rip off parts, often illegal and very, very dangerous. Also, they require assembly.
I'm 16, had a 50cc moped for two years and loved it. it was a 2004 tomos revival, theyre extremely reliable and have good hop ups availiable if you need more speed. also cheaper than the aprilia.
Aprillia rs50 would rock!! stay away from old DTs or any trials looking types as they suck!!
yer dont go for one wait a bit and start your car licence there aint nothing more i carnt stand is being stuck behind those pieces of ****
Well I'd go for the NRG.Twist and go scoots are much easier to maintain than geared 50's.They tend to blow up their tiny 6 speed gearboxes.
Loads of tuning parts for the Piaggio plus you can add neons and stereo if you want(all available)
Speedfight is good but expensive, new Suzuki and the Aprilia are fuel injected and too damn complicated for their own good.
If you're 16 obviously you can't buy a car,so that's a stupid answer. BSA's are only any good if you like wearing pudding bowl crash helmets and welly boots.
