Any advice for a driving test?

I'm taking my full driving test in Ireland next friday and I just want some advice from anyone who's done it already. Anything unexpected come up?

Answers:
keep in mind everyone makes some mistakes, if you make a mistake, try not to get flustered and either correct it if possible or forget about it and concentrate on whats ahead.
Good Luck
no just drive the car if you fail u fail and will just have to redo it no need worring good luck
best advice is to let every other driver you know when you'll be on the road, so we can be off it, cheers,

only kiddin mate, good luck ;-)
Show up at the examination station sober.
show up drunk?
keep calm and relaxed and DO NOT panic over anything.
just be calm
do you drive on the left or right? Practice of course
My cousin has took his driving test and the best advice he gave to me was
1. Stay Carm
2. revise before the test, remember the signs
3. concentrate on the road don't take your mind of it.
i wish you the best of luck xxx
Gas Right, Brake Left!! If all else fails you have an air bag!
just try and stay relaxed and remember what you've be taught.
I had someone crash into the back of me and still passed as it was not my fault
main thing is keep calm, concentrate and believe you will pass..oh yeah and dont get drunk before to steady your nerves!!
Just take a deep breath, and tell yourself what you are doing aloud. It helped me. Example: I would say, ok, I am coming to a complete stop here.
Stupid thing to say but just relax and if you feel you have made a mistake forget about it as it will make you panic. I passed 3rd time lucky, i thought id failed but passed. Good luck!! xx
keep your eyes open and don't cry pathetically if you fail
yes you have to huminise your self to the inspector! just talk too him as much as you can about your friends and family etc also what it will mean to you if you pass! this will build up some raport and this will help a lot . . . honestly it realy works,
Ireland? Stay away from the pubs before the test!
I took my driving test years ago in the U.S. (New York) and the best advice I had was to stay calm, drive slowly and be very polite to the examiner. Good Luck.
just dont forget the car keys..good luck
The best advice that I have ever had when you are nervous is: just breathe. This will help you remain calm. If you remain calm, then you can focus.
The best advice I can give you is to relax, if you are tense and nervious it will make the test harder for yourself.
stick to the speed limit, make full use of all ur mirrors, keep checking them every couple of seconds, use the push pull method whilst turning and manovering. oh and dont hit a bus like my mate did they fail u for that..
Practice practice practice! I had my full drivers test a few months ago too, and I did great. Stay calm because nervousness always makes me screw up even more. And my instructor told me, don't rush anything. If he tells you to make a lane change, and the car behind you is coming too fast, WAIT! Good luck on your test!
Follow the yellow brick road, follow the yellow brick road, follow the, follow the, follow the, follow the, follow the yellow brick road.

.mind the wicked witch of the east on the right and you'll be just fine.
Stay calm, drive in the right hand lane, unless passing, and make sure you know how to parallel park and can back into a parking space..GOOD LUCK!
Just relax, concentrate, and accept the result. you can always take it again..
I suggest you get rescue remedy from the chemist. Take 4 drops 4 times a day till the test. I just used it to get through my advanced driving test (i have anxiety) and passed. I swear by the stuff.

Good luck

PS it wont make you doped up just less anxious
keep your eye's open when your driving !
Keep cool, keep the speed limits, drive sensibly and don't worry if you don't pass-plenty of people fail 1st time round, it's not the end of the world. Best of luck!
Talk through what your doing in your head. and take it at your own pace. always check your mirrors all the time they love that!
If you stall dont panic. dont hit the curb instant fail!
If your instructor thinks your ready! then your ready!
Good luck!
Crashing the car during the test would be a bad idea. Keep all four wheels on the ground at all times.
dnt accept a call when driving and try not to crash!Good luck!
