When starting from cold uneven tickover and stalling till warm? car is sonata 2ltr?

pop the distributor cap and clean it. get al teh green fur off the brass contacts. clean teh rotor arm, and replace teh air filter.
you might need to turn up the T/O to around 13-15oo RPM.

i'd also go with auto choke not working although i had similar problem with my saab and turned out to be feul metering unit
you may have a spark plug fault.
also don't pump your accelerator when starting the car as you could flood the engine but i'd say that you could need a battery as it seems to be recharging as your driving but no juice before that
it sounds like U have a faulty choke, if it has a cab on it U will need a new one as the auto chokes r hard to fix, U can put a manual one on tho.
if its fuel injected, there may be a problem with the ecu, or even just a engine temp sensor
