How much faster will a 50cc suzuki katana moped go with a sports exhaust?
Answers:
a moped was not engineered to be a speed rocket much like today's motorcycles.
if you put aftermarket exhaust on your moped you may notice a small difference but not significant.
if you want power and speed look at a regular motorcycle but first if not already take the MSF course to learn how to ride first.
Not a lot unless you also change the jetting on the Carburetter
Not as fast as my car, and not as dry either.
Forget it, they are restricted, no matter what the exhaust
The exhaust don't do much it just changes the sound a bit. It does not make my dad's cbr600 go any faster
about 1 mph
my personal choice, sod the exhaust change, think of a licence upgrade and then think R1.
much more fun, Lots more speed.
Still not as dry as a car but pretty much faster!!
it won't do nothing to the power of your hairdryer it will just make it sound stupid like all these other kids riding around on their mopeds who think there barry sheen!
My friend had a katana. Rapid little thing. But he spent money on it and bored out the engine, variator and some other bits. The best thing to do is build your engine around a standard exhaust. That is the best for the bike. I had a gilera runner 172cc bored engine and a variator. So did another guy but instead of a variator he went fir the exhaust. His was slower. He could never keep up with me!
by all means try the ex ,but watch the engine does'nt run weak, biggggggg ££££££££££££££££££££ if you mess this. same as doing away with air filter ££££££££££££££££
myself and mates tried all this from 50 hondas 125 ROCKET yam feck i had a 250 bsa that was quicker than a 400 rd yam
meant to add im 48 now
