Any tips on how to pass your practical driving test (uk)?

Ive taken about 40 lessons and had 2 attempts but failed both.my driving is in top condition but when it comes to tests, i always seems to fail

Answers:
Look at the reasons given for your failure - concentrate on those areas to iron out any problems to make sure you don't make the same mistakes again.

When you get in the car at the beginning of your test, go through basic checks (seats adjusted, mirrors adjusted, doors closed, handbrake on, gear in neutral etc) in a methodical manner to help yo get calm before the test and help you get into test mode and relax for the test.

Good luck with your next attempt!!
Just stay to the left - you'll be fine.

.and don't break unless someone is right behind you.

keep your sense of humor.
Two tests, that's nothing. It is probably just bad luck or test day nerves. Try to do something relaxing before your test, or try taking a couple of Kalms (herbal relaxation pills). Then just go out there and go for it. The reason I passed my test was because I thought I had failed it coming out of the test centre and so was relaxed for the rest of it.
I know a girl who is on her 9th test, so just keep going, you'll get there. Good luck.
change instructors? 40 lessons is a long time maybe you need a new perspective?
I know what you mean. You just have to try and relax and just think, if you fail you can always try again. i worked myself up so much on one of my tests the examinor told me to pull over and calm down!!
Try to keep yourself composed, and try not to be nervous, just think of it as another lesson and not your test. it worked for me on the three different driving tests i have taken in the past.
go to the library and rent out the DVD practical theory test they are brilliant. Because it is visual its easier to remember
dont loose ur confident . have another attempt , and do it
The DSA says on average you need 45 lessons with an instructor and 20 lesson private to be up to test standard.

This varies from person to person, some need more, some less.
If you drive well normally but fail your test, it is probably just nerves. In which case, keep putting in for the test you will be less nervous each time.
Dont be giving up go for it again you will get there in the end if its only nerves doing the test i am the same i can drive OK but when i go to the test centre my nerves just go good luck
it depends what U fail on, just keep practising those parts, then b4 U start Ur test imagine Ur out driving with Ur friends, or some other situation that will put U at ease, a couple of deep slow breaths is also quite good for relaxing U

don't take any medication tho, herbal or not, it will slow Ur reaction times down and then U'll fail on the emergency stop, or even worse hurt someone
