If you have been disqualified form driving in the uk could you still take a test in another country?

what i am interested in is if you are disqualifiaied from driving in one country if you move abroad can you still obtain a license pass a test in another country allwoing you to drive in that country and the country in which you were disqualified

Answers:
You cannot drive in the U.K until the disqualification is over even if you have a licence from another country.
You may have to live in the other country for a certain amount of time before you can take your test, the disqualification here will still be valid here tho.

Disqualifications happen for reasons so personally depending on the reason I hope you don't
You could drive in the new country.

I'm not sure about in the country you are banned in.

Probably not though.
sounds dangerous to us (the rest of the world)
but i am sure if you learn how to drive in india - you probably pass the test quite quickly.after that, if you survived driving in india you'll probably make it anywhere..
if it was as easy as that 1000s would be doing it
I suppose it depends on why you were disqualified. Falling asleep on the autobahn? Forget it! Driving on the wrong side of the road? Maybe. Check the requirements for an international driver's license.
I think if you are disqualified from driving in the UK it is tied to the person, not the license. Therefore if you are banned in the UK, you can't drive on any other license either. I think that trying it might get you in a whole heap more trouble. I don't see how you would get insurance, etc, to cover you in a country in which you are banned from driving. You may well be able to use a foreign license to drive abroad while banned in the UK (you couldn't use your uk one) but some countries will ask you about previous bans/endorsements and would not let you drive. I know someone this happened to in Cyprus. They would not issue him a license until his UK ban expired.
You should be allowed to take a retest in the UK and you
certainly can apply for a test in many countries.
Problem arose with my sister-in-law's neighbour! He'd been disqualified from driving in the UK, came back to Ireland and applied for a provisional licence. He was asked to disclose any previous disqualifications. He waited until the ban was over to drive again, didn't fancy risking it you see. And nowadays, with the threat of terror attacks at our doors . Police are quick to check on computers.
Sure you can appear in a driving test in a different country even if you failed in U.K but be sure that you know all the rules and regulations of international driving and have a good eye.Good Luck! One more thing if you go to some third world country you don't even have to go through a driving test and can possess a international driving license because many people there don't kow that you have to have a driving license to drive a vehicle..LOL. but will it be fair?
I think so
