My car has broken down recently. It was seen by a mechanic who advised me it would cost between £300-400 to fix. As I dont have this money I have left it at a friends off the road. I have also obtained a SORN certificate. Now the friend has moved and is advising me to move the car. Morden council says they wont take it because it is not registered in their borough ( I live in Harrow). I dont know what to do with it, any advice please?

I had a car and it was taken away free phone some local scrap metal yards they should help you.
Have a look in your local paper, there should be people who will take away scrap cars.
