I have an automatic driving licence can I drive on L plates in a manual car.Is it also classed as provisional?
Answers:
It is classed as a provisional, therefore in order to driver a manual car with L- plates you need to have a driver of over 3 years with you also. Hope this helps.
I think so but you should check your licence, it will tell you for sure.
If you don't know that then maybe you shouldn't be driving at all!!
What state are you in? I have to say I've never heard any license requirements on whether driving an automatic or a manual.
Not sure i`d check highway code but i am sure you are ok to drive on l plates as a learner think you will have to take test again in manual.
not sure about l-plates. but i do know you have to take test again to go from automatic. to manual.
Driving a manual car you are an unqualified driver, so need L plates, and a qualified driver with you. Your full license for the automatic used to be a provisional one for other vehicles, but you should check the highway code or with the DVLA.
Yes your full automatic licence counts as a provisional manual licence. Bear in mind that you cannot drive alone in a manual car you will need a manualy licenced qualified driver with you (with at least 2 years driving experiance).I have all my licenses including hgv..smug mode off.
yes you can drive a manual on your licence but only with l plates and someone present with a full licence
also make sure your insured as you still can be done for no insurance
check your insurance ir you can drive a vehicle thats not your property but covered third party only check the small print
