You can't drive them on the road and you can't drive them on the path! you CAN drive them on private property

you have to be knocking on heavens door..have an intense hatrid for young people and a desire to break peoples ankles and run them off the path. Satisfy these criteria they will let you buy one
Not sure. My 13 year old son got one for his birthday and we've since been told that the scooter needs to be licenced (tax disc) and that he can only ride it in designated areas. I'll be interested to know for sure too.
The laws on vehicles operated on the public roadway varies a great deal from state to state, especially the small scooters, call your local highway patrol or state police for the answer.
if there is a law on them. no doubt it will b relaxed and unenforsed. there should all be band. just like those sillt little motor bike that are on our roads. it's my belief that anything driven on our rads should be the same height than a car drivers door window. and apart from a invalid carriage. and i'm not even sure about them? should be the only thing motorrised allowed on the public pavments.
Motorized arn't they? Illegal almost everywhere to ride on the sidewalks streets. Private property is the only place legal. Law enforcement just has not enforced laws already on the books and citys are waiting to make laws because old people scooters might have to be licenced too!
of course you need road tax if you are riding it on the road
Tax, insure & MOT - like anything that's going on the road. (And NOT on the pavement!)
boss.

google urself.

there were hell alot of clyubs in each country.and they have FAQ sections for ur querry
I presume you are in the UK. Electric scooters cannot be ridden in public places, including roads and footpaths. You cannot tax and insure them. They do not conform to the regulations regarding vehicle construction. Police tend to turn a blind eye, but, if they become a nuisance, they will confiscate them and crush them. This also applies to the mini motorbikes.
O believe the law is that you must turn in your testicals before you can ride in public.
forget scooters get a REAL bike. A motorbike I mean.
