Answers:
even know taht you might have cleaned out the carb and other things .It sounds as if the needles and seats in your carb have to be replaced.( very cheap parts). rust can be very fine .small enough to miss.try that or soak the parts of the carb overnight in carb cleaner. Best of Luck
fill it up again
Think you need to stop sniffing that rusty gas can, and change that fuel filter. Let alone you put old gas in there. Get some fresh gas from your local gas station. With a NEW gas container.
The fuel filter should have caught all the debris . check filter near the gas tank
replace the fuel filter also clean out the pipes from the tank to the carb. if it was starting fine before dont adjust the mixture.
go ask some one to fix it like for a 100-400$ then go place
When you refill with fuel make sure it's new. Fuel can go off and damage the motor, that's what i was told when i bought a lawn mower afew years ago. Hope i helped.
If you've adjusted the carb settings then you'l need to know these. Get a service book for the info.

If you're sure you haven't moved these screws, and I'm guessing you haven't, then you need to get a high pressure air blower to make sure you've got all the dirt out properly.
