Merc 320 runs retarded sumtimes.wont rev.kickdown not works. restarting seems to clear prob. any ideas?



Answers:
Its going into limp home mode, this is because the engine ecu has detected a fault within the electrical systems within the engine. This can only be cured by pluging it into a star tester that will read the fault memory. As it is happening more than once it is a recuring problem and a log for each time it has happened should be within the ecu.
The only place to take it unfortunately is merc!!! SORRY!**%!*££
