Why does the ABS light not go out in my VW Polo1.4 after the car has started?

your ABS are not working.
You have a fault with your ABS you need to get it checked.
It's a warning something is amiss with your dinky toy. like an engine!! lol

It could be that your ABS (anti lock brakes) have a fault but it could be a lock up on your cars management system.
You can reset this by disconnecting the car's battery and waiting for one minute and then reconnecting it.
Before doing this check that you have your radio code (if it has one) and that your keys and remote controls are in your hand as some cars lock the doors when the battery is re connected.
If you are not sure how to do this get someone to help.
The extremely hot weather can cause this. If the ABS light comes back then you have a fault that the dealer will need to look at.
