Peugeot 306 electrical problems, can anyone help?

My speedo, tacho and fuel guage have just packed up. Car runs fine but no readings on these dials. Temp guage ok and all other warning lights ok - apart from airbag light!. Anyone got any ideas, please?
I now know 306's have a bad reputation, wish I knew before.

Answers:
306 known for electrical problems because you have air bag light on you need a code reader to enable you to reset .Also it will give a good indication as to whats wrong with the rest of your electrical problems Regards Mick
Peugeot Dealer.
It sounds like it has blown a fuse, check it out. Use the manual to trace which fuse works the temp etc, it is probable the same one. 2p from halfords.
check the fuses
it could be either a fuse or a loose connection to your instrument panel
There is a fuse for the instruments, also a little voltage regulator. either would be a good starting point
liquidise 4 frogs legs, 1 clove of garlic and a french beret for good measure! This will probably be as effective as taking it to a peugeot garage and alot cheaper!! Hate peugeots with a passion. Why they are still being made is a mystery.
Stop buying crappy french cars
Scrap it!
It sounds like you have a problem with the instrument pack (Clocks), I would get down to a scrappy or have a rummage about on ebay and try and source another instrument pack, as multiple failure like this is unlikely to be anything else, normally there is only one fuse for the entire pack so if this had blown the whole lot would be out. Your problem with the airbag is likely to be the clock spring on the steering column (its under the steering wheel), if your horn doesn't work, or works erratically then this is definately the problem there, but if not, it could be the detonator pack for the airbag, also known as the squib, that is faulty. Good luck and hope you fix the problems, old pugs are alright as long as you look after them!
Try screaming at it -- since it is made by the French you may be able to frighten it into working for a while.
either its a fuse or the little man inside the dash that flips the switch fell asleep. The best thing to do is set the car on fire.
this could be a fuse,,,bad earth,,, or a loose connection do the lights come on on the dash?? a common folt with the peugeots are that the fuel guage uasually dont work properly!!
