I have a an A6 W12 LWB.
The car management system is a bit of a pain. The menus are not in a very logical order but better than the M5's.
As it is a little longer than an average car it sticks out of standard parking spaces. The large doors make parking next to another car a squeeze.
But apart from that well worth it. Handles better than most sports cars I've driven (as a privateer racer I've driven lots of sports cars)
The ride is very smooth, very little road noise, the best driving position ever (all controls are at finger tips)
Apart from regular services I've had mine for just over a year now with no problems (apart from a squeaking window)
So yes get one. If you can go for the W12 fuel cost are not bad for a car this size 28-32 miles per gallon.
Yes its a good European car does not handle quite a well as a BMW but the finish is far superior.The rides a bit harsh considering the class of car.
I never had a audi but did have a bmw and now have a mercedes and you should go for one of them. I have a friend that has an audi and I think its a 2002 and has not had any problems with it so far.
Not as good as the Audi, TT, 3.2 Dsg, convertible, with heated seats, 0 to 60 in 5.5 seconds, personal registration, navy hood, metallic paint... mmmm. sorry I was dreaming, I had one!
if u have the money u should wait for the new S6. its pretty sweet and has a wicked high quality motor in it. As for the mmi, im not sure if its any different from the previous ones, check out Audi.com for that.
I have one 8 weeks ago. MMI unnecessarily complicated but tons better than BMW.
Mine has 2.7 twin turbo diesel with multitronic continuously variable transmission and adjustable air suspension. Fantastic product, top quality and better than BMW in most areas.

it's a really good car, although it loses against the BMW in performance and handling, and the Mercedes in comfort and safety. it's very spacious, the MMI is tons better than the iDrive, and i also like the looks. if you like performance, leave it, the 5-series is better. if you like luxury, you can try it but the E-Class is still better. go for it if you are looking for space and styling, but I'll prefer a BMW or Mercedes better.

These cars runs fantastically, but then tend to have electrical problems down the road. They hug the road like no other..
It's a good car. But NOT as much as AUDI TT
