is it the original engine and transmission, if you ask this and it is the original your resale will be higher, if it is. ask how many times the car has been painted, how much work was done to the car, how much millage, if it has any rust, does it run good, has the oil been changed every 3,000 miles, does everything work, does it start up on the first time. IS THE CAR ALL ORIGINAL
Am i sane?
does it have wheels
How much is it..
Where has it been stolen from?
It will depend on what you are looking to buy . You should make sure:
If its a 2 stroke engined machine that the piston has been replaced on aregular basis i change mine every 10 hours of use.
Gear box oil changed every 2-3 hours.
NB 2 strokes do not require engine oil as the lubricant is premixed with the petrol.
check consumables such as chain and sprockets, tyers and air filter, if these are in good condition it can be a good sign.
Generally if the the bike looks right it probably is but dont rush into it go to a motocross dealer and get an idea of what to look for ,good and bad. Visit AMCA or ACU website for info on your local club, or ask your local dealer which club they are members at. racers usually look after their bikes, its no fun pushin. Good luck.
First you should ask is it new or used, then figure out a payment plan. Before buy look it over ask for a test ride and make sure its right for your riding style and the kind of ridinng you do. My suggestion to you is buy an differnt make go honda, suzuki or anythig thats not automatic. You will become bored fast with a scrambler get something with a clutch don't be afraid tp ride one that is not automatic. Ask your dealer about a differnt atv that will make a better long term investment. As you get into rding more and more you will want a atv that you can build on make more powerful and scramblers are the worst for aftermarket parts they are hard to find and expensive.
