Is the renault megane the worst car on the road?
Answers:
its a close second to the punto
Top gear says french cars such, now i believe them.
i think there are still a few renault le cars left that might beat it
Renault and Peugeot consistently do badly in the JD Power and Top Gear reliability ratings. The Megane is especially poor for electrical reliability, though it is very safe.
nope that honour must go to my escort td
I would say top honor goes to Chevrolet Vega -- only I'm SURE there isn't a single one that hasn't rusted into dust, so I guess Renault (once again) has defended it's title.
Yes.
Scrap the French litter and get a VW.
Have you seen the Kia Picanto?!
is that the one with the big bum?
No. It was not made by Fiat or Vauxhall. That means there are at least a dozen models on the road which are worse than it.
It is if it's the car in front of you doing 25mph when you're in a hurry!
Got one as a company car - I've had worse but the thing keeps making funny noises. Would never have one again
why are you guys bothered about the car.. i think that girls butt is all we should be discussing..i see you baby shakin that ***..give me ads like this anytime
I don't think so - smart, safe, comfortable - not my personal choice but not that bad.
What you really need is a Perodua Kenari - now that is a serious heap of steaming rubbish.
No. My Mégane is the best car I've ever owned.
I still get pleasure just from seeing the shape of the C-pillar (its a 3dr) after over 3 years of ownership.
I've professionally assessed lots of vehicles in my previous jobs, and the ones I hated most were the Vauxhall Corsa 1.0 12v (looked good, comfortable, safe, but the sharp clutch and poorly programmed EMS made it difficult to drive smoothly), a Peugeot 306 1.4XL without power steering (heavy, low-geared steering made what should have handled like a Peugeot handle like a bowl of porridge, and the dashboard looked like a tombstone), various FSO pickups and Lublin vans from Poland, and the worst of the lot was a Tavrija hatchback from the Ukraine.
i dont know but i like the adverts for it!
No, the Ford Focus is.
The horrible, understeering, cramped, unreliable, expensive overhyped suburban trinket that it is.
Remember the Golden Rule of Car Buying: Jeremy Clarkson is always wrong, if he likes a car - avoid it, if he hates it - buy it.
I drove a Renault Meganne for 150,000 trouble free miles in Australia and it was a great car. Friend had a Clio that did 83000 in two years, again trouble free, and would out handle most cars of its size. His wife had a polo that was nothing but trouble and handled like a jelly.
The only crap thing about Renaults is the dealers.
they don,t give the french a good name dull to drive do badly in jd surveys but there are worse cars even then the megane ask citroen or peugeot
