Powder coating approx 120

Apply KBS RustSeal. A Sandblasted surface is the perfect surface for sealing and preventing rust with Rustseal. Can be sprayed or brushed on. Self-leveling properties. Also very tough! Looks great. Can be topcoated. Most economical way I know.
powder coating is real popular :)
I would suggest powder coating would be the best option. It will give an attractive hard wearing finish and as it is applied electrostatically it gives great coverage getting into all the little 'nooks & crannies'!
Powder coating will be the least expensive long-lasting option.

Chrome will be expensive and keeping it pretty is time consuming. Also, if not done correctly, it can reduce the flexibility of the metal, and possibly lead to metal fatique/failure.

Rattle-can jobs are never a great option - it's impossible to get one to look good, and will never last as long or look as good as a profesionally painted frame. Stove enamel actually requires lots of heat to cure - not a good option for a frame, but a decent alternative for a headpipe.

A professional paint job will look great, but will show wear sooner than powder coating. Also, small nicks and pops in the paint will allow rust - where the powder coating will still nick, but won't allow rust as easily (powder coating sort of bonds to the metal).

One big thing to remember - if you've got a four stroke that runs oil through the frame - be absolutely certain to plug all the bolt holes, drain holes, etc prior to blasting it.

Instead of blasting, you could have the powder coater hot tank it to remove all the old paint - again though, make sure to have all the bolt holes, drain holes, etc plugged.

If you do go for powder coating, be sure to cover anything that needs to stay un-coated (swingarm bushing mounts, threaded bolt holes, etc.) because scraping off powder coating is extremely difficult and NOT fun!
painting got to be better as ,stoving chips, then the rust gets in . powder coating good but water can get behind it =rust. crome far to dear .slap on any oil based paint
Powder coating would be hard wearing, if worried about rust you could allways ask the powder coater to apply a zinc based primer before the top coat. This method is used on garden gates by the better powder coaters.
