My daughters Bug had an engine fire (on a petrol forecourt!) and there is some slight damage to the bonnet. We are looking for a recomended sprayer to either match the original paintwork or do a total respray. Anyone know of a really good sprayer in the South East region?

I would guess that you're from the UK as well. Here are some VW forums for the UK. I'm sure there will be people on there who can help you find a reputable body shop.
South East region of WHERE? I assume from the use of your terms "petrol forecourt" and "bonnet" that you're in the UK.
Regardless, do you have some VW Beetle specialist stockists nearby, or any VW clubs? I'd suggest asking them for advice, as they're likely to know which local shops are good and which are bodgers.
