Are Volvo's good cars?
Answers:
I believe Volvo's are the safest cars there are, they are also a pleasure to drive.
my neighbor owns a couple and according to him they're incredibly reliable and among the safest cars on the road.
i wish i knew more. perhaps if you visited a consumer advocate site or even the volvo site itself, and i'm sure a volvo dealer could give you some insight as well.
It's ok.
but fuel com quite high.
volvo's are great cars, especially in the safety field.
if you want a car, s40 is a good choice.
if you prefer sporty, get the s60. but if you prefer luxury, get the s80. more info at volvocars.us
dont think anymore, get one. volvo is the best car in the world
I know somebody who's just bought one, they're extremely happy with it. It's a nice car.
Volvo is a good car.it is reliable and has a 5 star safety rating
even though it's a bit expensive
To drive or for parts? I know they cost a small fortune for upkeep but are known to be sturdy cars.
Yes but v exspensive to repair if you have a problem.
well my ex's family had a couple and they said that there very dependable cars and one of the safest cars you'll ever ride in. When i got to drive it, it ran smoothly and fast. So I would say a volvo is a good car.
Yes go ahead and buy the S 40 for the money its a great car.Quite a roomy interior for a small car with the seats folded down you can get big objects in.
As far as safety yes volvos are the safest car in the world.
Fuel economy is good on them as well.
For repairs do not go to the dealer find a volvo specialist repair shop.Let me know where you are and i can recommend one or two to you as i work in one in Quebec Canada and have a North American network available to me.
all of our customers with s 40 model are very pleased with the car.we don't seem to be doing any major work on them yet either wich is a good thing for a car owner. So far mainly just brake jobs and oil changes.
overall this is a good car and i think you would be very happy with it and if you do get it and want to know of a shop near you or have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
Hope this helps.
yes they are the best sweden cars i have ever seen but in Germany i prefer Volkswagon
volvo's are shocking cars dnt buy one! they usually weigh upwards of 1 tonne and are therefore very slow! dnt buy a volvo i beg u! buy a Porsche!!
Volvo are definitely good and safe cars.
But how boring! They look pretty random and are actually very very boring to drive. You´ll need quite a big engine to enjoy the ride.
they're ok
they are reliable and extremely safe, they have been forerunners in pretty much every new safety technology,
also, they are well equiopped, and can be luxury less then competitors
and they all have an AWD option, although expensive, ussually highest trim, because they are Sweedish
Older model Volvos (940 and back) were excellent cars. I have owned eleven Volvos from 1966 to 1998 model years and my own experience with later models has not been good. They are expensive to maintain for one thing. Do some research into known problem areas and associated remedies before the purchase.
if youd like a full verdcet go to www.whatcar.co.uk they will give u all the info u need
Yes, the Swedish volvo is a very good car.
However, quite expensive.
Remember, the 40-series are not made in Sweden but in
Holland and Belgium.
VERY RELIABLE AND SAFE AS A FAMILY CAR
If you're talking about a new second-generation S40, go for it. It should be a good car. The first generation was built off of a Mitsubishi model and not very good from what I've read, heard, and experienced. The second-gen. is a huge improvement in many areas.
Yes. They are exceptionally good cars. An excellent choice. Safety. Reliability. Originally built in Sweden for royalty. Volvo for life.
PS. Get a Sweden Volvo NOT a FORD Volvo.
Watch out for the rear brakes - they warp very easily.
Of course Volvo's are known for safety - check out this cool video at http://www.autonorth.ca/home/2006/8/3/vi.
