I also remember someone doing a conversion based on a British Leyland built car, but I cannot find a reference for it at the moment.

you can limo any car they cut it in half n extend it but if ur talking bout rentin 1 i dont think they exist just yet

All are customised but still look pretty good.

Back in 1981 I helped a friend cut up 4 Chevy Chevettes and we build a Chevette LIMO it had 7 doors on each side " 2 from the (2door) we used up front and 6 from the 3 (4doors) we used in the back; it was 24 feet long from front bumper to rear bumper, it had a 4 cyl engine with a 4 speed transmission because when we first put it together with the automatic the transmission would boil and overheat the whole deal. It took it a little over 30 seconds to go from zero to 60 mph. It had front and rear A/C and a killer 400 Watt sound system with 18 Mind-Blower speakers. God was it strange looking.
yes and no. small auto's have been made into limo's but then if enlarged in the common definition then it's not particually "small" anymore. would that now be a oxymoran?? anyway, a friend of mine has a late model vw bug stretched 75 inches over stock to become a limo and also i saw a show on discovery channel where a custom shop built a mini-cooper limo , it had two front ends and so it could be driven from either driver's seat and also had a hot-tub among other wild idea's.
