Any known issues with vs1400 intruder?

Answers:
mainly finish they don,t like winter.also if they are dropped on exhaust side damaged scilencers bent frame.check rad for stone damage and the fins aren,t clogged.check for pitted forks rust on rims damaged spokes.but the bike its self is fairly bullet proof
None that I can think of.
Its been around for a long time in one version or another, main changes are the paint colour as Suzuki got it right first time. maybe something with automatic decompressors, but its only slight corrosion in connectors( bike gets washed more than ridden)
You could probably break something if you tried though
As above, plus lousy brakes and poor ground clearance when cornering.
I have a 2002. Good power, fair handling, brakes can be problematic but not a reason that I wouldn't buy another. Biggest gripe I have is engine temp. I live in Florida. The bike over heats pretty easy because its' oil cooled. It's a hydraulic clutch so once you over heat the clutch fluid may vaporize. This can damage the clutch. I put high temp. clutch fluid in mine.

Otherwise it's a great bike. Good Luck
yup, there is one really MAJOR problem , bloody obvious really,ITS NOT A HONDA !!! the most reliable motorcycle brand there is!!!!!
