Haven't got a clue sorry my husband might
god mate try the scrap yards or some biker sites.
If it is a GN400 there seems to be loads of spares for them on ebay.
Hey, Neil, "bikers" do NOT ride Yamahas ! They ride Harleys ! As for a 82 Yamaha, lots of luck. Most of them are landfill. And having parts made would excede the value of the bike.
Try Partfinder UK - you can contact up to 200 breakers with one phonecall.
Always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions.
It makes it easier to locate info. Do you mean an xs400h?
Since I don't know what model you have, check the Yamaha site -
http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/servic.
Go to - View Parts Catalog
If you can borrow a set from someone you could make your own out of fibreglass. It's really very easy to work with. You have to make a mould from the originals and then new ones from the mould. If you are successful you'll be able to make your money back selling them to others who need them. Give it a try.
