Excess water leaking from car? Only when air con has been on. Is this normal?

Answers:
yup its just from the AC being on
Yes it is normal..it is the condensation from the A/C compressor
water or coolant. if just water then yea your evaporator sweats like a cup with cold drink in it does. if coolant get it fixed ASAP
Is this water on the interior? or outside the car?
If its in the interior sounds like the drain tube from the evaporator might be plugged otherwise..yes, completely normal , particularily on humid days
It's condensation from the a/c process. The amount of water is dependant on the humidity level of the outside air, and the efficiency of your a/c system. If you are concerned, you can check with your auto dealer, or local auto a/c place for a definitive answer.
That is very much normal. The condenstation from the cooling of the air make the excess water.
It should generate water but shouldn't be "leaking from the car"! How much air con do you use? Does it leak water when not in use? I'd get it checked but guess it depends how old and how much your car is worth.
Check where the water is coming from! most AC's don't create that much water, could be a pipe to your heaters.
Besides cooling the air, the air conditioner removes water from the air before sending it into the cabin of the car. That water has to go somewhere. It's perfectly normal.
Yes. It is just condensation on the evapourator and the drier. The vehicle is equipped with drains to route this condensate to the road.
This is normal. When the air conditioner is turned on, the temperature of the interior of the car drops. The air outside is still hot and very humid. Moisture in the air then condenses on the car. Think about a cold beer on a hot day. After awhile, droplets of water appear on the surface of the beer can.
Yeah completely normal, I found out the other day, I had my car serviced and was driving home, stopped for some petrol and the car was leaking water all over the place. Stupid me went back to the garage and felt like a total idiot..its all the condensation, which is made worse on hot days :o)
Yes perfectly normal as the ac unit works it creates allot of condensation and it just drain from the unit , usually There s a drain pipe connected so bend down and have a look.
Yes perfectly normal condition.
