Please help the wire in driver door for electric windows snapped door panel off can it b a diy job fd galaxy?

can see where it all runs motor still works other door have heard it be loads of cash at garage

Answers:
yes you can re-fix it your self only if your confident with wires as you could cause a short and car could go on fire so if you want to risk it for a biscuit do it if not bring it to a garage
i think it would be better to get it properly looked at and fixed. you'll only cause more damage trying 2 fix it yorself
A very simple task.

You can either re join the cables using a conector that you are comfortable using (many many sorts available - crimp connectors, scotch connector, terminal block. ). If the cable run is a bit tight and you haven't room to reconnect the snapped ends, then simply splice a piece of suitable cable in (this also gives you good space to work and allows you to route the cables safely afterwards - out of the way of the mechanical workings of the window).
If your not too confident working with cables, make sure you disconnect the battery, but in doing so you will need to make sure you have the radio code.

Good luck, and it will probably take longer to replace the door panel than it does to repair the cable.
if its an electrical wire you mean then yes resolder it, if you mean the steel wire that makes the window go up and down then you need a regulator from the dealers, but no reason whyyou cant change it.
