Answers:
You can fly so long as your eyes are correctable to 20/20. My license restricts me from flying without my glasses. With my glasses I am correctable to 20/20.

You should call an "aviation medical examiner" (AME). These are typically family practitioners, who have been specially certified by the F.A.A., who conduct the physicals that pilots need in order to fly. There are three levels of flight physicals, the class 1, 2, or 3 and each has slightly different requirements. The class 1 is the most stringent, this is what airline transport pilots are required to have.

You can probably call any doctor in your hometown and they will be able to tell you who the AMEs are in your town. You can also call your local airport's Fixed Base Operator (FBO), and they should also be able to tell you who the AME(s) is/are in your hometown. Give an AME a call, they will be able to answer your question very concisely. They are not optometrists, however, they do administer a basic vision test when you go in for your flying physical. You have to pass the test in order to get a physical, however, so long as you can pass it with your prescription lenses, you are good to go.
20/200 corrected to 20/20 is the short answer. So as long as your eye sight can be corrected to 20/20 you are good to go in the eye sight part.
My brother in law could become a pilot in the U.S. Air Force because he wears glasses but he is a private pilot.
Hey man check your sources, cos 2 months ago while flying to the middle east I got acquainted with the cabin crew and they spoke to the pilots so that i could go into the cockpit and look at it.Twas amazing, BUT I SAW THAT BOTH THE PILOTS WERE WEARING GLASSES.
Yes, you can, as long as you're correctable to 20/20. The Air Force and Navy require 20/20 uncorrected though, to be eligable for flight status.
What a great dream of you.
my dear. What I've known until now.
They still have such rule that pilot must have a perfect eyesight.
I'm so sorry.. But let me tell you about one thing. Don't give up on your dream.. There are 1001 ways to go to Rome, right.
You can have an eye-x rays or you can find any other solution!!
Be Great!! See you on the Top my buddy!

me,

liz
As far as the Military, your out. At last check, you have to have 20/20 on your first exam, after that you can go blind but you have to have 20/20 at the beginning. As far as Civil Flying (including the Airlines) you can wear glasses.
Check the FAR's and see what the requirements for the particular License (Private, Commercial, ATP) your trying to get.
nuh u dont and depends how bad it is even in airforce u dont need 20/20 nmore
