I have a 1994 acura vigor , and sometimes it does not start, if I do not disconet the betery for few minutes?
Answers:
Could be one of 4 problems
1) sticky relay
2) bad contact on the battery terminal
3) ground fault
4) ECU interface fault
For more help email me I will look up the specs I keep a data base of about 1600 cars from 40 years with foot notes on omon faults and unusual problems.
okay okay i can answer this..but, what is a betery?
Sounds like a computer board problem. When you disconnect the battery, it resets the computer board. There may be a short circuit, or it is just going bad.
Sounds like relays are sticking. The battery is holding a charge, preventing the relays to move into the correct position. As sson as you disconnevt the battery, the relays reset.
Get a diagnostic test done. You'll get the exact answer that you need.
hey,
well i had exactly the same problem and did what u did but since i changed my battery and spark plugs everything is fine.
So if u change your battery which usually costs around 35 pound for a normal one, but 45 pound for a good one. Also u should change your spark plus which cost about 20 pound for four thats all u need. 20 pound labour on top off that. Hopefully your car will be fine.
