I have a bump in my car!?
Answers:
Seeing as your a new driver any claims you make now will seriously increase your future premiums. Your policy will have an excess, typically around £100-£200, if repairs near enough match your excess then just get the repairs done privately without notifying your insurers.
Hope this helps
The other drive if he the one that hit you get his insurance to pay for it. Plus if he was traveling above the speed limit careless driver. Is there a police report ? did you report it to the DMV if not you would get your license taking away for not report it.
IF the other driver is at fault. & they have liability insurance they will pay for repiars My advice to you is to take your car to an autherized BMW repair facility. proferbitly a BMW dealership they should make an undetectable repair I'm a colision technican at dallasroadster. com
You will need to take it to a body shop to see how much it will cost. if you have full coverage ins. then yes you can claim it on your insurance or if there was a police report done and it was the other drivers fault then their ins. will pay for it. If your ins. pays for it you will have a deductible to pay but that's cheaper than paying for the repair yourself. It should look like new when it is fixed but that depends on the shop you take it to
Dont report it!
it will be cheaper to fix and let go than claim and lose bonuses on insurance in the future! X
Did you get the other drivers details, insurance company, name and address. You should ALWAYS do this in the case of any accident. If you fail to inform your insurance company of any incident, even if you are not claiming, you will invalidate your insurance policy. Body work repairs are always the most expensive to get repaired, as they often have to replace the entire panel.
