to get it running best, a dyno would be the ideal solution. By altering air-flow and exhaust flow, the whole combustion process will be altered and may well lead to less than perfect output. by having a bike dyno'd it is possible to imrove this to give the best possible performance.

In your case some dynos do simulate air flow by blowing air into the engine, similar to road use. best to give them a call before you book a dyno run
You will find out as soon as you go to bolt them up as to how they will fit
if you force too much air in the bike will run hot and could lock up at high speed due to the weakened mixture after you fit the trumpets, however a dyno run doesnt simulate the air rushing into the trumpets as the bike is stationary when it is dynoed.
i'd give it up.
