What to buy as a first Motorbike 125cc range (None X bike)?
I dont want a Motorcross bike, i prefer the classic looking style motorbikes.
I dont know the name of the type of bike, but its sort of like a Hog, but not as big and beefy as one.
The bike type im wanting sort of looks like these 2:

http://www.hgbmotorcycles.co.uk/necred.j.
the 2007 range from Honda, featured on the first page of HGB Motorcycles
Anyway, it has to be a 125cc and affordable like around £3000 or less, £2000 is a good price, second or First hand.
Thanks alot in advance :)

classic looking opt fora yamaha drag star 2nd hand book price around 3000 condition 1. honda vt 125 shadow c1 2200. want a sports bike aprillia rs125 and honda nsr 125 r 1000 for the latter both 2 strokers. under 2 and a half grand gets you a brand new cbr 125. looks good decent speed 6 gear. rear wheels a bit thin for a sport bike but it will top out at 75-80
Good Question !!!
Get the helmet first.
I strongly recommending going to a show room and sitting on a couple first. The problem with a 125cc cruiser style bike is they are very low down and if your quite tall your knees will round your ear holes.
youre best bet is to look at honda, kawasaki, suzuki web sites and get an idea. and if you want to keep resale value if you go for the big bike test then buy new but i would say second hand. £1500/2000 is more than enough for a second hand 125 remember to go for a cbt

joing this web site and ask the same question in the forum. bikers site ran by bikers also good offers in the second hand bikes.
good luck
i had a cg 125 a couple of years back it was a1975 one
so it was not restikted it was blood^ great
and it did 100 miles to the tank
i wish i never sold it now
The Yamaha Mio Automatic is your best bet. To hell with gears..ugh.
Honda CG125s are a bit of a no-brainer for new riders. They've been around for donkeys and old, cheap ones can be had for a few hundred quid, but with your price range, you can get a new one no problem, which I think it about £2k.
Of the 125 cruisers, the Honda VT125 Shadow seems a nice choice, but it's a bit pricey brand new at £3.3k though there's money to be saved on second-hand models.
