It depends on what you want to put in it really. Your best bet is to go somewhere like Halfords and ask for advice.Just remember that there will be restrictions on where you can park - ie not in multistorey carparks etc. You wont be able to put a big tent in it either as there is usually a 50k weight restriction. However, to answer your question, you need to think about the size you need and whether you want to be able to carry bikes as well. I like the long 3/4 length roofbox such as the Thule Atlantis 780 which means you can also carry a bike on the roof next to it. As the Subaru has a fairly long flat roof it should be fine with a long roofbox
ps I could not think of anything worse than being stuck in a hotel in Corfu. I love the freedom of camping and the kids love it too
