To drive whats needed most brains or steady nerves?

I have better tests grades than some of the morons who have learnt but I have realised I am not good under pressure do you think I could pass?
do you think i should leave it for now?

Answers:
The trick to passing the driving test is to have confidence in your ability. If you feel confident, go for it now, if you don`t, then get all the practice you can in between lessons with family and friends. Don`t practice at silly times of the day though, e.g the rush hour. Choose the early morning/evening when the roads are quieter or even the weekends.Oh and practice with family and friends somewhere away from the place the instructor takes you. You will expereince new envoironments and broaden your understanding of roadcraft. Afterall, once you pass the test, you are hardly going to want to drive round the test routes for the rest of your life, are you? Keep reading the Highway Code and if you have got one, `The Driving Manual` then you will gradually feel that what you are reading about is translating itself onto the road. With this greater awareness will come confidence in your ability. Ignore what the examiner is doing, watching him means you aren`t watching the road. If your instructor is any good, you should already be familiar with the routes around the test site that you are sitting the exam in. If you can drive well with your instructor, you can drive well with the examiner, it is all mind games. I couldn`t believe when I failed my first driving test, was sure i had failed the second, but passed. Since then I have passed the PSV test, first time, and various other advanced motoring exams, first time. If you want to be a really good driver, don`t consider passing the test as the end of your learning, as the idiots do, it is only the beginning.
Do everyone a favor and ride the bus.
it took me 3 attempts 2 pass, its steady nerves u need, good luck and dont give up
It took me three times and i thought that i will never pass. But look i passed, every one will pass!
Sounds like you have the brains, what you need is self confidence! Just go with the little engine theory; I think I can I think I can.
You 'll get over it. Don't think too much, enjoy it.
Brains are more important as you can drive safely by out-thinking and predicting the morons. When you use your brains to drive you don't need nerves of steel.
It takes both .just relax take a deep breath YOU WILL PASS . GOOD LUCK
we're all nervous when learning to drive just try to keep calm and focus on the road checking your rearview regular
A car?
Having a higher than average IQ won't make you a better driver. A friend of mine is verging on genius (5 languages - reads dictionaries.. you know the sort) but I wouldn't trust him to make toast. He's a shocking driver - took 4 attempts to pass & is nervous all the time.

Being relaxed & confident in your abilities, understanding your machine and being able to 'read' the road & the intentions of other users will make it a much more enjoyable experience, and much safer.
it takes both, but mostly common sense,no keep trying, just calm down a little, just remember the police are just people too ,like you and me.just take a deep breath and try remember what you learned and you will be just fine, besides if you give up ,how will you ever know if you would pass or not.good luck.
Steady nerves, coupled with the desire to live to a ripe old age.
