Can a uk police car detect the speed your going when traveling towards you?
Answers:
Ohhhhh Yes!!
probably theyre sneaky bastar*ds
yes
I HOPE NOT - otherwise I'm gonna get a whole lot of points on my licence!
er yes. they can detect anything anywhere. Big Brother is watching, and if he turns away for a moment, you can be sure an informer is watching you.
Don't speed anyway, it costs lives. usually the speeding drivers.
Absolutely yes,
the way the radar works traevalling against you is that the radar's sonar waves " hit" your car then " bounce" back to the radar informing the radar at what speed you are travelling.
Whatever you have heard about not being able to tell travelling towards you is false.
Besides, there is no need to speed more than the acceptable 10 over the limit.
There are other people to think of, never mind the ticket.
Yes, all they have to do is subtract their current velocity from the radar reading, (probably done by computer) and they'll have your velocity.
yes - the wonders of modern technology
From a logical approach, a static radar gun operated by a office on the road side or traffic control vehicle can very easily detect you as you approach. There is however an issue with a frontal scan, from a vehicle moving towards you. The speed of the police car would need to be calibrated to match radar scan to be able to give an accurate reading. I would suggest that currently MOST but NOT ALL system are not that accurate. What is more important is the average speed systems. Measure the time taken between two known points - very accurate - very quick to prosecute.
if its driving towards you ,no definetely ,they will try to say you where speeding ,but travelling in the opposite direction it wouldnt stand in court
Probably, but not if it is an illegal immigrant.
no
hope not!
