I have a 1992 bmw 520 and i cant find the car battery it says it's under the rear seat any ideas :o)?

Its under the rear seat. Bottom cushion of back seat needs to come out to gain access to it.
BMW, Benz, Volvo puts batteries back here to keep them out of the weather so they last longer and items like air bags and such still have a power source in the case of an accident.
it is under the rear seat but may be easier to access from the boot.
look under the seat!

i had a 318 i and it was in the trunk, also my aunt's bmw, can't think of the number but much nice than mine and it was in the trunk also. lol
Stick your hand in the crack of the rear seat cushion and feel around for a pull-tab that releases the seat. (Any spare change is mine) If i remember correctly the BMW seats pull forward. The battery is most likely under the passenger seat. (But I migh be thinkin about a VW Bug.damn German cars). If it ain't under the seat then you might have to find the wires on the starter and trace them to wherever they lead to.

hi.if u cant find the battery with the engine its usually in the right side of the driver under the back seat.
