Starting weight for the car is 1310kg. One of the great things about the RX-7 was the ease with which you could modify it and how good it looks modified. I have seen a number of these that have been modded and are slightly heavier (cause of all the ICE put in them) or lighter (because someone is trying to save weight and gain some speed). I looked at buying one a couple of years ago and it is hard to find one in the UK now that hasn't had something changed in it.
Shame that the RX-8, as interesting a car as it is, just does not live up to, and is nowhere near as good a car as, the RX-7 (in my opinion)
