Which would you get? jag s type or galant v6?

I want to buy either a Jag x or s type or a Mitsubishi Galant v6 on a 52 plate. I have two kids so i need room but would also like some power and luxury! what other car could i buy or which out of the fore mentioned ones is best for me? (no interested in people carriers)

Answers:
Galant is a great car, reliable, powerful etc, but the Jag S-type is also nice (apart from the ugly front end). Not bad for a family as it is big inside and sporty too. Problem we have had is trying to keep ice-cream/chocolate etc off of the cream leather interior.
I'd take the Jag anytime, although watch out for transmission troubles. The back seat on the X-type is pretty small, the S-type's much bigger and more powerful if you get the V8.

The problem with the Mitsu is that it just.doesn't have any personality at all.
I'd get the Jaguar S-type, hands down. The S-types are smooth cars, and have a great deal of power for a four-door sedan--something Jaguar does best.

I agree with the previous poster. The Mitsubishi doesn't have much personality at all, and doesn't have half the recognition factor of the S-type.
reliant robin, like what the TROTTERS have.
I have had a Galant and it wasnt that great, much less reliable than I had expected with expensive parts and servicing, I would go for a diesel X type, maybe even the estate if I had kids. Jag dealers are a class apart too
Get the Jag all your neighbours will be eaten up with jealousy!
