Filling out the arches of my R reg Ford Escort GTi. (UK)?
If anyone can advise i will be very gratefull.
The wheels are the standard 15 inch gti alloys they look ok but do not fill the arches nearly enough. I was thinking of doing one of two things.
1. Leaving wheels stock and lowering by 30mm
2. Fitting some 17's to try to fill the arches out more.
If anyone has any expierence of which would be best please spare some time to help out. Thanks.

I had a set of 17' on my Escort (L plate) so basically the same car, i threw 17's on it and still dropped it by 40mm i just couldnt blast over speed bumps or down rough roads but it looked the danglies and was fine one normal level roads/motorways ect

I went to 17s using 245/45 and the ride was harsh, I friend went and lowered his golf gti and speed bumps took out his exhaust!
Get some wolfrace 17's
Or some Tsw 17'S
if not lower it by 10mm
my b/f said lower it 30mm and put 18's on it will fill the arches out lovely apparently hope this helps.
