Citroen c2. ive drove 20000 miles now but should my brake discs be wearing out and ive got 12 month warranty?
Answers:
It all depends on your driving style, however 20k miles isn't too bad for a set of discs. They're wear and tear items so they aren't covered by warranty.
As for Stoneacre Hyde, they are other Citroen dealerships around. Horns of Stockport, Citroen Manchester and Manchester South to name a few. Try one of those and don't be afraid to haggle a bit.
Good luck!
buy a proper car small manhood evo 8 whats you want iv just ticked one on thier awsome
It,s about right 20,000 on a set of pads, but disks, maybe depending on the type fitted, either way, they will not be under warranty as normally a warranty lasts 12 months or 12,000 miles, I know nothing of Stoneacre
1 Brake parts are not covered by the waranty
2. You can wear out brake discs in 20000 miles, particularly if the pads have worn through and rub on the disc
3 Take a pic of the dent and sent it by letter to the MD of stoneacre
At 20000 miles your discs should not be worn out .What was the milage when you bought the vechicle? However if what you have for a warrenty is a non manufacturers one they will say its a wear item and not covered.
ask the warranty people, some will allow one set of discs and pads in the warranty period others will tell you its a wear and tear item.
as to whether your discs should be worn out depends on your driving style
