Why is it we have separate tests for Car/Motorbike/Lorry but points carry across all of them?
Should there be a general licence to cover everything if they want to penalise them together?
Answers:
You have a good point , but like the other guy said .. you need different skills for the different vehicles. BUT , look at it another way, with insurance , how come that you can not transfur your no claims bonus between car , bike and anything else , BUT they do count any points or accidents in/on other vehicles??
Because the points affect the driver, not the vehicle. You (the driver) are responsible for your actions, and the state of the vehicle you drive. How can individual vehicles be held individually responsible?
Because if you're an idiot in you car, it's likely that you'll be just the same in your lorry or on your motor bike.
BECAUSE THEY ARE MONEYGRABBING BASTARDS.Thats the simple answer
No. You need seperate tests because different skills are needed for each vehicle, and different medical standards. However, if you drive like a demented ape on a bike, you probably ain't too careful in your car. So points should carry, and one bans all.
not really sure, but u got a point
because stupid is as stupid does, and it don't matter what you ride/drive you get the points not the vehicle. cars bikes lorries are not dangerous, left at home in a garage perfectly safe. it's the people riding/ driving them
It doesn't matter what vehicle is under your butt. Its you breaking the law.
because when you start to tot up your speeding points in your car you might go out and but a motorbike and ride that like a tosspot, and hurt yourself.
i havent a clue but i know it sucks
