My friend has broken down on his bike in strasbourg france. can anyone tell me the cheepest way to ge him and the bike back to the uk. he has tickets for P&O Calais to Dover, can he hire a van in france and drop it in england?

get his mate to join aa europe brake down on his behalf in this country then give it a couple of day,s (not that i have done it) should work.
He might be able to hire a car from Avis, they have Branches in France and England so I imagine they might be a good one to enquire with.

Get a one-way hire in France to the ferry terminal. Push the bike onto the ferry. Hire again in the UK.
