What happened to the reliant scimitars exported to australia?

Answers:
The body shells probably cracked with the heat & UV!!

For anybody not familiar with Reliant Scimitars:

Yes, the did the 3 wheeled Reliant Robin (Del Boy) and a 4 wheeled 'Fox Cub' (?), but they also did proper GT's.

Basically a Ford Cortina / Granada with a 2.8l engine (or more), fibreglass bodyshell. Sort of a production model kit car. (Like a TVR - but from the 70's) Obviously they didn't rust, but the shells crack & dry out, and the chassis needs attaention.

LOTS of fun, 'Jaguar/MG' sort of styling - and will still beat a Golf GTI!!
they obviously stop going but.

tell me

did scimitar have 3 or 4 wheels
